Cheapskate

While pregnant and working on Eli's nursery I found these unfinished letters and plaques at a craft store. I figured a little paint and artistry would go a long way on these and give me something sweet to hang on his nursery walls. Instead of spending over $150 buying similar items from Pottery Barn, I spent $7 total and had fun painting them!

The plagues turned into little wall-hangings of a dragonfly, dinosaur and turtle.
I used the same colors as I painted the stripes on the wall.

The E-L-I letters hang above his crib. I love polka-dots in nurseries!
(they are the same size - the pictures makes them look weird)

Although his nursery is sweet - the thing that makes him happiest is his mommy!
(If I do say so myself)
:)
